Aires Butte Preview
Aires Butte is a beautiful multi-pitch climb in the heart of Zion National Park. It requires a strenuous short approach to reach the first bolts. There are 4 200′ pitches all of which are between 5.3 and 5.5 climbing. The ascent is a beautiful exposed butte with no way down in sight. The views from the top are great.
To get to Aires Butte go 1/2 mile past the small tunnel (2nd tunnel) in zion and park at the pull out for Keyhole Canyon. Jump over keyhole canyon and you are on your way to the ascent.
