Kolob Creek Preview
Kolob Creek is one of the most dangerous and rare canyoneering experiences in Zion National Park. A Zion back country permit is required. This type of canyon should only be attempted by canyoneers with experience and anchoring skills. This hike may be done as a very long one day event or a multi-day event. Most hikers will exit Kolob Creek via the MIA exit but this canyon feeds into the Virgin River Narrows and eventually ends in Zion Canyon. The picutres you see are from the full Kolob, which is a feat rarely accomplished in the canyoneering world.
