Sand Bench Trail Preview
A simple and non-strenuous trail. The entrance to the Sand Bench Trail hike can be a little confusing, it starts across from the Court of the Patriarchs stop. Just head down the trail next to bus stop toward the left. The trail will go by the service station and truly start when you arrive at the bridge crossing the river. Take a left after the bring and you’re on your way. Pay attention to where the trail goes, it will cross the small stream to the left side before you know it. Eventually you will arrive at the fork and go right, you will come back out on the left trail at the end of your hike. When you arrive at the next fork you will go left, the horse trails go right. From there you will continue up the hill and on your way.
Enjoy the majesty of this hike as you are always at the bottom of the Patriarchs. Last note: Pay good attention to the trail, it is rather unmarked and you could find yourself hiking up the hill and miss the loop, safe yourself the trouble and enjoy!

My wife and I did this hike while we were in Zion in April. The hike can be a little hard to find, but when you get on it the scenery is amazing, ala Zion.
