The Subway Preview
Before you begin this hike you must know that you need a permit to do this hike. The Subway is the hardest permit to get in Zion National Park. Before you begin, you need very knowledge and experience in rappelling.
This hike begins up Kolob Terrace Road at the Wildcat Canyon trail head. After a steep and careful descent into the left fork of the Virgin River. The rest of the hike goes through the left fork and is primarily in water. After a scenic and exhilarating trip down the river, you make the ascent up to the parking lot.
